Headstart in Blogging World!

"Vroom! Vroom! Vroom!"

I just can’t imagine how the days would be like without this sound.

It fills me with the same excitement as the 2-year old baby gets excited when she hears her mothers’ voice from some corner of the room. It excites me the same way as the workers get excited on the announcement of DIWALI bonus. My excitement can be compared with that of the husbands, when his wife declares that she would be going to her fathers place for a month.

Wait! Wait! Did I introduce myself here? Do you know me by any chance?

No.

Ok! I am the 22-year old, third son of my parent. Popularly known as Gamey (don’t remember how the name cropped) in the biker’s zone. Otherwise, some call me Samey (associated with me from my birth), while some address me as useless (especially my father), and considered good-for-nothing by many. But, I know what I am!

I am the best biker of this century, in fact the millennium, would not be an exaggeration. It is an incredible sight for the onlookers when I raced and just a matter to survive for bikers against me. I bet you can never catch me on any of the busy streets of Mumbai, my home place. Even, it takes some time for cops to notice me, till the time I am far away from them. So, be my pillion, all the time, to enjoy the journey called life.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Bhaiyya! Bhaiyya! Please listen to me.”

“But, you know how much it excites me; gives me fun. You had always supported me in every endeavor of mine. Still you are asking me to slow down. Don’t acts like a sissy now?”

“But, its friendship day today, and you promised me that you will do whatever pleases me. You know no one can better you as my dearest friend.”

“Ok! Now, don’t get too emotional. It’s just for you, promise means something to me, and so I will drive slowly from tomorrow, but not today. Hope you understand.”

“I know today is a very special day in your life, you will be crowned the best-biker in the city!”

“Still…

“Yes, still I am requesting you to drive safely. You know you are the youngest in the family. What will happen to all, if you hurt yourself someway?”

“They all will be more than happy.”

“Here, I am sure you are completely wrong. Even if, uncle hates you to the extreme; your brothers don’t see you as an option. Aunty scolds you for every minor mistake you commit. And you receive long lectures from me all the time. But, you still hold a special place in all our hearts…

“Oh! Please, don’t once again start the same old story. You know they don’t even care for my existence.

“But, it’s not like that for Me.”

“That’s why I said I can’t just avoid your words; even if you bully me all the time. You are my sweetest cousin, my dearest friend. You mean a life to me.

“Then, why you don’t listen to me once.”

“I already promised you that I will slow down from tomorrow onwards.

“Remember, for you, TOMORROW NEVER COMES in life and PROMISES ARE MEANT TO BE BROKEN ONLY.

“Oh! You are getting too much deep now. That means its time to say GOOD-BYE. Wish me all the best for today’s race, as you always do after such a long lecture.

“Ok, it’s the last time from me, but you have to keep your promise.

“As always.”

The conversation was between me and my cousin-friend-counselor-all-in-one-package, just before the RACE FOR SURVIVAL. Don’t take her as she likes to lecture peoples all the time. Even, all such conversation seems bit out-of-the-world to me, it’s not her fault, as she is deeply spiritual, and with spirituality, personal values seem to be more common. I vividly remember she was the only one on my side, and because of her strong reasoning, I got the greatest gift of my life. My BIKE!

Nice begining to the whole story. Keeps the reader guessing.

Just one suggestion as time progresses try to portray the personalities for readers to visualize and identify themselves with.

Cant wait for the next one.
